The short version of how buying from Katana works. Prices are in MDL and include tax.

Who we are

The shop is run by KATANA MUSIC SHOP S.R.L., IDNO 1023600012874, str. Alexandru cel Bun 51, Chișinău.

Orders

Most records are a single copy. When you place an order we hold the record for you: 30 minutes if you pay by card, 48 hours for a bank transfer or cash on delivery. If the payment does not arrive in that time, the record goes back on the shelf.

An order is confirmed only once the payment is secured. That is when the confirmation email goes out.

Prices and delivery

Delivery is a flat 60 MDL anywhere in Moldova and free from 900 MDL. Pickup at the shop is free. Chișinău is delivered in one working day, elsewhere in one to two.

Payment

By card online, Visa or Mastercard, through maib: the card details are typed on maib's page and never reach the shop.

By bank transfer with the details on your order, in cash to the courier, or by card or cash at the counter.

You are charged the full order at once; a refund goes back the way the money came.

Returns

You have 14 days to send a record back. Write to salut@katana.md first so we know it is coming, and keep the order number handy.

What we keep, why, and for how long is in the privacy policy.

Your account

An account is optional; it only saves you typing. You can delete it at any time from your account page.
